I am a Passionate Artist.

I live and breathe my creations.  They come from within, mostly being
spontaneous, hopefully conveying the excitement I felt as it happened in front
of my lens or my computer screen.  I identify completely with each image I create,
experiencing it over and over, examining every detail, striving for perfection. 

I invest myself totally, without hesitation, by commiting
unrestricted time, energy, and passion into what I create. 

I am my own worst critic. 

I am a passionate artist.


 My photographic fine art and commercial studio is located in Fort Myers, Florida. 

Upon moving to Fort Myers, Florida in late 1988, I opened my commercial and
fashion photography/graphic design studio known as  Heslep Productions, Inc .  
Even though I have enjoyed a successful commercial studio servicing a broad
range of clientele, my most heartfelt desire has always been to be recognized in
the same realm of the most elite of fine artists...  photographic, or otherwise.

The first exhibition of my fine art was in 1991 as part of a multi-artist Gallery 
Exhibit at Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa in Fort Myers, Florida. 

Due to pursuing my commercial studio, thirteen years later came my next. 

I have added much to my collection since that first show, trying to be
diversified with what I do create. The Doug Heslep Fine Art Collection has been a
 "works in progress" for a very long time, far beyond that first show in 1991...  
and the journey isn't over yet.

I hope as you view my art you can see how I take it very personally, I take my life outside of my
career even more. So, just a little extra tidbit about the biggest influential part of my life
that has formed who I am, both in heart and soul, and has mean't the most...



...that being my son Alex, my best friend.
